Beautiful Photographs of Beautiful Places

Another early start saw me in Inbhir Pollaidh well
before sunrise. After a trek over the bealach
between Cul Beag and Stac Pollaidh I found
myself in a frozen glen. Days of temperatures
well below zero had caused large crystals of ice
to cover the rocks and grass.
As the sun rose it bathed Cul Mor in a beautiful
warm light, which contrasted wonderfully with
the frozen foreground. The glen remained in
shadow for the entire day and I made for the higher
ground and the sunshine! You can see some of
the other views I was fortunate enough to capture
during the recent remarkable weather in the gallery.
